Widely regarded as one of the best fighters in Public Safety the reigning and defending Cruiserweight Champion Brian Stevens, LASD returns to the ring Saturday October 1, 2016. Brian Stevens is the face of the cruiserweight division. He has held the title longer than any other champion. He defeated two #1 ranked challengers to win and defend his title. Stevens will face his 3rd #1 ranked opponent when he squares off with rising star Guillermo Garcia, LAPD. Ladies and gentlemen fights like this don’t come around often. When you have two supremely skilled fighters at the top of their game who are willing to fight each other you know there is going to be fireworks! The SoCal Battle of the Badges goes down Saturday October 1, 2016 at Pacific Palms Hotel and Resort, City of Industry (Los Angeles). Tickets are on sale and start at $30 for General Admission and $50 for Ringside. Doors open at 5pm first bell rings at 6pm. Fund raising efforts will benefit Firefighters Cancer Foundation, Project 999, which provides financial assistance to the families of officers killed in the line of duty, and the Santa Ana Unidos Boxing Club.
