Training Camp

blogTraining camp is under way for the fighters competing in the Battle of the Badges Saturday April 9, 2016 at the Hanford Civic Auditorium. Training camp is where it all starts, skills are sharpened, game plans are perfected and fighters are mentally preparing for battle. It’s essential to put together a training schedule, diet plan and surround yourself with like-minded people who want to help you improve. As a fighter you must appreciate the challenge. You must find ways to stay motivated and continue to push yourself throughout camp. Telling yourself; my opponent is not working harder than me, my opponent will not be able to keep up with my pace, I am pushing my body to the limit while my opponent is resting. Training camp is designed to optimize peak performance come fight time. If a fighter misses work outs or is lazy during training camp it will be revealed come fight time.
