The UCA Welterweight Champion Asiah Medawar, San Bernardino Sheriffs Dept successfully defended her title last night at the SoCal Battle of the Badges. For 8 weeks Medawar was preparing to take on Faasamoa Palmer, Camp Pendleton Paramedic. At the weigh in, Palmer came in 40 pounds over the Welterweight limit. With less than 2 hours, 3rd ranked Denise Guerrero San Bernardino Police Dept stepped up for a shot at the title. Just like that it was on! Medawar vs Guerrero for the UCA Welterweight Championship title. When the bell rang to start the fight, Medawar jumped on Guerrero throwing punches in bunches. Guerrero never had a chance to get started and the referee stepped in half way through the 1st round and stopped the fight. And still…. The UCA Welterweight Champion Asiah MedawaFullSizeRender (8)r.

The main event featured 2 of the baddest big men in the game. The Champion Chris Dubiansky Camp Pendleton Fire Dept vs the #1 ranked title challenger Justin Robinson Camp Pendleton Fire Dept for the UCA Super Heavyweight Championship. Dubiansky is coming off two TKO victories and was looking for number three. And he accomplished it. Dubiansky stopped Robinson in the 3rd round. And Still….The UCA Super Heavyweight Champion.

#1 ranked Katherine Proudfoot, 29 Palms Fire Dept. was defeated by Faasamoa Palmer, Camp Pendleton Paramedic.

6th ranked Jasper Sandoval CDCR, Chino State Prison picked up another win defeating Eulices Recinos, U.S. Border Patrol to take over the #2 spot in the Middleweight ranking ladder.

Sterling Parks, U.S Navy defeated 4th ranked Cody Anderson Murrieta Fire Dept. to get on the radar in the Super Middleweight rankings.

3rd ranked Masters Light Heavyweight Demetrius Brown, CDCR Ironwood State Prison defeated Tim Nakumura, Imperial County Sheriffs Dept. to remain undefeated.

5th ranked Marco Aguirre, CDCR Norco was upset by Miguel Corona, ASH Security

#3 Mario Alonzo CDCR, Centinela State Prison picked up a big win over 5th ranked Carlos Palomino, CDCR, CIM Chino State Prison to secure a title shot for the vacant Masters UCA Super Heavyweight title.
