DSC_3759The Masters UCA Super Heavyweight title was on the line tonight as part of the SoCal Battle of the Badges card. Mario Alonzo, CDCR Centinela State Prison took on David Lomeli, CDCR Ironwood State Prison. Alonzo has been chasing the title and didn’t waste anytime going after it. When the bell rang Alonzo jumped on Lomeli looking to end it quick. Every punch thrown had very bad intentions on it. Half way through the 1st round Referee Tom Taylor stopped the action and walked Lomeli across the ring to the Doctor. After checking Lomeli the Doctor advised Taylor to end the fight. And the new…Masters UCA Super Heavyweight Champion Mario Alonzo, CDCR Centinela State Prison.

IMG_1844And still….The UCA Super Heavyweight Champion Chris Dubiansky, Camp Pendleton Fire Dept. Dubiansky made his 2nd title defense tonight by defeating Rene Escolero, EMS by 2nd round TKO. Setting up one of the biggest fights between two Champions. Dubiansky is dropping down to the Heavyweight Division to take on the undefeated UCA 2 Division Champion Marqus Blevins, Kings County Sheriffs Dept. These two Champions will meet at the Central California Battle of the Badges Saturday April 6, 2019 at the Hanford Civic Auditorium. Will Dubiansky become a double champ? Or will Blevins prove once again he cannot be beat? Let’s do this! Doors open at 5 pm first punch thrown at 7 pm. Tickets start at $30 for General Admission and $50 Ringside.

On Saturday April 6, 2019 the Hanford Civic Auditorium welcomes the biggest and best fighters to compete in the toughest event of the year. The City of Hanford will once again be the center of the public safety boxing world. The popular Hanford Civic Auditorium will host the 6th annual Central California Battle of the Badges. The main event will feature the undefeated UCA 2 division champion Marqus Blevins, Kings County Sheriffs Dept defending his Heavyweight title against the reigning and defending UCA Super Heavyweight Champion Chris Dubiansky, Camp Pendleton Fire Dept in a Champion vs Champion showdown. The co main event will feature two undefeated fighters. Gerardo Serrano, Reedley PD vs #1 ranked Aaron Benoit, CDCR CHCF for Serrano’s UCA Jr Cruiserweight title. This is public safety boxing at it’s finest. Events like this don’t come around often, don’t miss it. Doors open at 5pm first punch thrown at 7pm.
