It’s official, 2nd ranked Aidan Nolasco, Long Beach Police Dept will collide with Manuel Maldonado, Burbank Police Dept for the UCA Jr Middleweight Championship title.

Nolasco has made a name for himself by not backing down to anyone and taking on the toughest competition. Maldonado is under the radar but when fight fans see his skills he will be impossible to ignore. This is a dream fight for boxing fans. Two determined fighters with unparalleled skills. Both men come to fight and they do it at a high level.  It’s hard to predict who is the favorite or who has an advantage. You can make an argument for both fighters. Last October at the NorCal Battle of the Badges Lance Martinez, LASD saw an opportunity to skip the line and if he won he would challenge the Champion Efrain Moreno, LAPD for the UCA Jr Heavyweight title. With only two fights Martinez fought an experienced 9-1 fighter in his hometown as the B-side.

Fully understanding the position he was in but also understanding he had an opportunity to win. Martinez came up short, losing by close decision. Martinez is not afraid to take risks. He returns to the ring to take on Diego Martinez, U.S Penitentiary Atwater CA (Federal Bureau of Prisons) and continue his climb to the Jr Heavyweight title.

UCA Light Heavyweights Jesus Bravo, DSH Coalinga vs #8 Enrique Espinoza, Madera County Sheriff’s Office features two fighters who are determined to leave the ring victorious.

Bravo is preparing for his ring debut at the Lemoore Boxing Club with his coach Jason Glaspie. He is also working with big brother 6th ranked Middleweight, Luis Bravo, DSH – Coalinga.

Espinoza is coming off a split decision loss to John Henderson, Lemoore Police Dept and does not want to leave the decision in the judge’s hands again. Espinoza is training at the Batcave Boxing Gym in Clovis under coach Bryan Williams, Fresno Police Dept.  Espinoza is training with stablemates Adkins, Lewis and Baker.
