The Central California Battle of the Badges is back with its 10th annual event on Saturday, April 27, 2024, at the Visalia Convention Center. Originating at the Hanford Civic Auditorium, this event has evolved into the most anticipated and competitive event of the year. The UCA Battle of the Badges serves as a platform, providing an opportunity for law enforcement, firefighters, military, EMTs, and other emergency personnel to come together and compete in a safe and challenging contest. This event not only promotes physical fitness, safety, and friendly competition but also strengthens the bonds between these dedicated first responders and the community. Krystle Jordan, San Diego Police Department takes over the #1 spot in the UCA Lightweight division. Jordan competed in a USA Boxing event at Rhinos Boxing Gym in Vista, California yesterday, squaring off against Deborah Aguilar from Bomber Squad Boxing Academy in El Cajon.  Coaches Heidi and Sherman from Maxwell’s Boxing in San Diego guided Jordan to a unanimous decision victory. “I’m coming for that 138lb lightweight belt,” Krystle Jordan.
