Edy Bryant, U.S Forest Service will make his ring debut against undefeated Marco Labrado, Cosumnes Fire Dept next Saturday night. Bryant took some time to answer questions about how he has mentally prepared and physically trained for his upcoming fight.UCA – What gym do you train at?
EB – I train at Varela’s Boxing Academy in Lindsay
UCA – Who is your coach?
EB – My coaches and trainers are Nestor Varela Sr, Nestor Varela Jr, and Iván Varela. Also known as Team Varela. The best team to work with.
UCA – How has training camp been preparing for this fight?
EB – Training camp has been great. On Sunday I’ll be completing week 12 of training camp.
UCA – Have you suffered any injuries during camp?

EB – No trouble finding sparring partners. My trainers found the perfect sparring partners for this fight.
UCA – How many days a week are you training?
EB – I have been training 6-7 days a week since the start of my training camp.
UCA – How many days a week are you sparring?
EB – I have been sparring 2-3 times a week, on average 2.
I did not start sparring until February 2nd.
UCA – Who are your main sparring partners for this camp?
EB – My main sparring partners have been team members around my weight class and experience from Varela’s Boxing Academy.
UCA – Are you prepared for Labrado?
EB – I’m ready for anyone although I have never competed. I believe in my abilities to compete because of how I prepare.
