Champions Crowned and Unity Celebrated

The dust has settled and the Battle for Mental Health Public Safety Boxing Event has come to a close leaving an unforgettable impact at the Hummingbird Nest Ranch in Simi Valley. With 14 thrilling bouts the fighters lived up to their promise, providing fans with an evening of electrifying competition.

Two new UCA Champions were crowned. Sam Telfer of Chula Vista Fire Department triumphed over Vitus Pinto of LAFD to claim the UCA Jr Cruiserweight Title. 

Zane Archer proudly representing the Los Angeles Fire Department, achieved a stunning 2nd round TKO victory against the reigning and defending two division champion, Chris Dubiansky of Camp Pendleton Fire Department, to become the new UCA Heavyweight Champion.

The event also recognized outstanding performances with special awards. Cody Gonzalez of Pasadena Fire Department and Ryan Mulrooney of Pasadena Police Department earned Fight of the Night honors. The UCA Gladiator Award was presented to Shane Gailey of Oxnard Fire Department and Armando Aguas of Ventura County Sheriff’s Office received the UCA Golden Fists Award for his exceptional performance.

This incredible event was not only a showcase of talent and determination but also a testament to the strength and unity of first responders in support of mental health awareness.
