Joshua Mariscal, CDCR – Wasco State Prison vs. JaVun Willie, CDCR – CSP Sacramento features a matchup between two well rounded fighters with championship aspirations.
Mariscal is back in camp at Flash Boxing Gym in Van Nuys as he prepares for his second UCA appearance. In his debut, he put on a strong performance but fell just short, losing a close decision to 4th ranked Bryson Finger of the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office. With that valuable experience under his belt, Mariscal is ready to leave it all in the ring and prove he is a threat in the division.
JaVun Willie is coming off a razor close victory over 5th ranked Abdul Gorsi, CDCR – CMF and looks to carry that momentum into the ring against Mariscal. Willie has never taken a break from training he stays ready for any opportunity. Once again he’ll have renowned trainer Marcus Reaves in his corner, guiding him toward another victory.
