Training Camp is at its Peak for Cross and Willie

The former UCA Cruiserweight titleholder Anthony Cross and the undefeated 4th ranked Jr Cruiserweight JaVun Willie both representing CDCR – CSP Sac have been locked in an intense 12 week training camp, preparing for their upcoming bouts.

Cross is set to go head to head with Alberto Gomez, San Diego Fire Rescue Dept for the UCA Cruiserweight Championship title.

Willie will square off with #5 Joshua Mariscal, CDCR – Wasco State Prison in a Light Heavyweight showdown.

Throughout training camp, Cross has been sparring with top open class amateurs and professional fighters. On Friday, he will test himself against the UCA Super Cruiserweight Champion Manuel Galvan of CDCR – SCC.

Willie has been sharpening his skills at the UFC Gym in Elk Grove under the guidance of renowned trainer Marcus Reaves. Willie gets in hard rounds with 6th ranked Middleweight Andy Pholkham, Sac Sheriffs Office, the Masters UCA Jr Middleweight Champ Daniel Ming, Sac Co Public Defenders Office – Criminal Investigator and the Masters #1 ranked Light Heavyweight Jack Rivera, Sac City Fire Dept. The UFC gym’s expert coaching provides the ideal setting for fighters to refine their technique, sharpen their strategic approach, and elevate their game all within a world class team environment.
