What an honor it is for Correctional Sergeant Beto Ortiz to have the full support of CDCR – California Health Care Facility as he prepares for the biggest fight of his career against the undefeated Ismael Alvarez of the Fresno Police Department. Beto will step into the ring at the NorCal Battle of the Badges on Saturday, September 6, 2025 an event with a proud 22 year tradition of uniting communities, building camaraderie, and raising money for charity. Beto has been putting in long hours in the gym, determined to represent CDCR with courage and pride.
