With the UCA Super Lightweight Championship title fight between Krystle Jordan and Daniela Rosas falling out, a new title fight has quickly taken shape. The UCA Super Lightweight Champion Krystle Jordan, San Diego Police Dept will drop down two weight classes to challenge #1 ranked Leslie Martinez Los Angeles Sheriff’s Dept for the UCA Jr Lightweight Title. This matchup features two red hot fighters with confidence, momentum, and something to prove. This is exactly what public safety championship boxing is all about, two elite competitors meeting at the peak of their careers, determined to prove who is the best.
Jordan is already a 2X Champion. Now she’s chasing a second division title and a place in history as the most decorated female fighters to ever compete in the UCA. She’s proven, battle tested, and knows what it takes to compete at the highest level.
But standing in her way is the division’s #1 ranked Leslie Martinez, who has built her reputation through skill, toughness, and statement making performances. Martinez trains out of the Don Ruiz Boxing Academy in LA sharpening her craft alongside and learning from WBC Super Flyweight World Champion Adelaida “Cobra” Ruiz. Her résumé includes a victory over UCA Jr Lightweight Champion Priscilla Valdovinos, Hanford PD and a recent 2nd rd stoppage of Rebecca Rivera, EMT.
Jordan knows exactly what she’s stepping into and admits this will be her toughest test. After Daniela Rosas was forced to withdraw, Jordan was offered two replacement opponents, the 20 fight veteran and UCA Lightweight Champion Shanne Ruelas, CDCR – SQSP and the #1 ranked Leslie Martinez. Without hesitation, Jordan responded, “I will fight either one. I want to be on this card.” That perfectly captures the champion’s mindset.
The stage is now set for what promises to be a battle fans will talk about long after fight night. When the final punch is thrown fight fans will know they witnessed something special. Whoever walks away with the victory will not only claim the title, but also add a major name to their resume. Fight fans you absolutely cannot afford to miss this one.
