Two firefighters will trade their turnout gear for boxing gloves when Jesus Juarez of the Burbank Fire Department squares off against newcomer Patrick Dickinson of the Benicia Fire Department at the NorCal Battle of the Badges on Saturday, October 24, 2026.
Juarez returns for his second UCA appearance with valuable experience and unfinished business. He is back at Guerrero’s Boxing Gym, sharpening his skills under the guidance of former professional middleweight contender Fernando Guerrero. With a respected coach in his corner and one UCA fight already behind him, Juarez plans to return stronger, smarter, and ready to make a statement.
Standing across the ring will be Dickinson, a hungry newcomer preparing to make an unforgettable UCA debut. Dickinson has been grinding through training camp at the renowned Lion’s Den in Pittsburg, CA under the guidance of gym owner, founder, and trainer Cordell Pearson and undefeated professional boxer and trainer Johnny Perez who will also play a major role in building Dickinson’s confidence, conditioning, and skills needed to perform under the bright lights.
