The Masters UCA Super Heavyweight Champion John Olson, CDCR – Avenal State Prison, has already reached the top of one division but now he is chasing UCA history. “I don’t know what your plan is for me, but can I tell you what I want to do?” Olson said. “I want to drop to 220 pounds and challenge the Masters UCA Heavyweight Champion Jason Stingley, Pismo Beach PD, for his title. If I win, since James Dorris, (Retired Folsom PD) called me out, I want to drop to 212 pounds and challenge Dorris for his Masters UCA Jr Heavyweight title. There has never been a 3 division champion, and I want to be the first.” It’s an ambitious path that would demand discipline, sacrifice, and victories over two elite champions but Olson isn’t looking for the easiest road. He is pursuing a legacy no fighter has ever achieved.
