UCA Masters No. 4 Cruiserweight Hector Munoz, who represents CDCR–Avenal State Prison and trains at the renowned Grillo Boxing Gym in Kerman got in several solid rounds with ring Rene Garcia of the U.S. Army at Lemoore Boxing Club. Although Hector is not scheduled to fight he’s staying ready for a possible title opportunity at the Central California Battle of the Badges on April 17, 2027. Rene will make his ring debut in 14 days against Pierce Thomas, Sac Metro Fire at the NorCal Battle of the Badges in Sacramento. When Hector heard Rene was looking for sparring, he reached out to help. A great example of supporting and keeping the UCA community bond strong.
