Diego Martinez, U.S Penitentiary Atwater (Federal Bureau of Prisons) vs Lance Martinez, LASD features a pivotal heavyweight showdown that could determine the next UCA Jr Heavyweight title challenger. Diego will be making his ring debut against a fighter with a 3 fight experience advantage. Diego’s team feel they made up for the experience advantage by Diego being in the gym the past 4 years sharpening his skills with his coach Rick Muñoz and his BOP stablemates.  Diego could have fought many times but choose to wait until the time is right.

Lance trains alongside an incredible stable of fighters; Hicks, Strigglers, Aguas, and Maldonado. His trainer is the UCA Coach of the Year and LASD Boxing Coach Abran Rodriguez. Lance has his sights on the UCA Jr Heavyweight title and is determined to get it. “I’m coming for that title” Lance said. “Just wait, my time will come.”

This is going to be a fun fight to watch between two fighters who like to push the pace every round and are always coming forward. Central California Battle of the Badges Saturday April 15, 2023 at the Visalia Convention Center. Doors open at 4pm first bell rings at 6pm.
