The spotlight will shine bright on the only female fight featured at the Central California Battle of the Badges. UCA Super Lightweight Champion Krystle Jordan, proudly representing the San Diego Police Dept will make her first title defense against undefeated challenger Victoria Rodriguez representing the United States Marine Corps.
Since capturing the UCA title with a decision victory over #1 ranked Briana Doss CDCR – Solano State Prison Jordan has remained dedicated to her training under coach Adrian Melendrez at Azteca Boxing Club. She knows that holding the title puts a target on her back and she has no intention of slowing down.
Standing across the ring from her will be an equally tough and skilled opponent. Rodriguez is honored to be fighting Jordan and is ready to seize the opportunity to become the new UCA champion in her promotional debut. Training 4 to 5 days a week at Lompoc Boxing Gym under coach Tai. Rodriguez is also training for a half marathon, a bodybuilding competition, and competes in jiujitsu and powerlifting.
