Five boxers from CDCR – High Desert State Prison will proudly represent their institution at the NorCal Battle of the Badges on Saturday, October 19, 2024. These fighters include UCA Masters Heavyweight Andrew Curzon, John Calvert, Jordan Paige, UCA
Cruiserweight title challenger Bernadette Sierra, and Super Heavyweight Matt Webb. They are deeply honored and grateful to have the unwavering support of HDSP Chief Deputy Warden Kim Thornton, Warden Rob St. Andre, and the entire prison community as they step into the ring for the first time. This strong backing provides the boxers with an extra boost of confidence, which could make all the difference in their fights.
