It is a great honor to recognize and thank Tulare County Sheriff Mike Boudreaux for everything he does for his community and for the men and women of his department. Sheriff Boudreaux is a true pillar of Tulare County, leading with integrity, humility, and an unwavering commitment to service. From the very beginning, he has been a strong and consistent supporter of the UCA Battle of the Badges, standing behind the mission and the fighters who represent public safety.
On April 25, 2026, at the UCA Central California Battle of the Badges, Juan Hernandez of the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office will step into the ring and you can be sure Sheriff Boudreaux will be front row, proudly cheering him on. While many know him as a leader, what some may not realize is that Sheriff Boudreaux is a fighter himself, having competed in boxing at the United States Police & Fire Games. His humility may not advertise it, but his respect for the sport and those who step into the ring runs deep.
We are incredibly grateful for his continued support, his leadership, and the example he sets. And who knows, maybe we’ll see the Sheriff lace up the gloves one more time.
