A clash of UCA Light Heavyweights is set to unfold as 8th-ranked Enrique Espinoza from the Madera Sheriff’s Office squares off against Anthony Rodriguez from the Los Angeles Police Dept.
Espinoza has parted ways with his previous gym and trainer, now finding a home under the guidance of Coach Daniel Gonzalez at Gonzalez Boxing Gym in Madera. With 15 years of amateur boxing experience, Coach Gonzalez has been instrumental in Espinoza’s training, “I’ve been training at Gonzalez Boxing Gym for about a year” Enrique said. “Training has been great. I’m in the best shape of my life. I train 2 to 3 days a week right now, but training camp is going to ramp up real soon.”
On the opposing side, Anthony Rodriguez, is preparing to make a big splash in his UCA debut. Rodriguez is training at Rampart Boxing Gym alongside top-level fighters Efrain Moreno, Joshua Robles, Daniel Seals, Charles Medrano, Jesus Carmona, and Justin Valle,
