National Nuclear Security Administration Police Officer Chris Lugo will no longer be an unknown name. After spending the past decade training at various boxing gyms, Lugo has spent the last year sharpening his skills at Slick Rick’s Boxing Gym in Manteca, CA under the guidance of fighter, trainer, gym owner, and promoter Rick Casillas.
Coming off an impressive victory at the Bakersfield Battle of the Badges, Lugo is ready to make some noise right out of the gate when he makes his UCA debut at the NorCal Battle of the Badges on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at Rock & Brews Restaurant & Bar Outdoor Venue in Sacramento.
A fundamentally sound boxer with polished skills on both offense and defense, Lugo has patiently waited for the opportunity to showcase his talent on the UCA stage.
The UCA Light Heavyweight Division is loaded with talent, and Lugo is determined to prove he belongs in the conversation among the division’s top contenders.
