Peterborough-Boxing-Logo-500x330  The Hanford Civic Auditorium will be the site of the first Central California Battle of the Badges boxing event featuring 4 United Combat Association State Championship Title Fights. On April 19, 2014 eight of the best fighters in the state will put their championship aspirations on the line. In the Main Event UCA Super Heavyweight State Champion Cleon Jones, Yolo Co. Sheriff Dept. will make the first defense of his title when he takes on 2nd ranked Shay McIntyre, CDCR, Folsom Prison. Also looking to keep his belt will be the undefeated UCA Welterweight State Champion Brent Bugarin, Santa Clara Sheriff Dept. Bugarin will defend his title for the first time against the man he beat to win the title, #1 ranked, 3X Police Olympic Gold Medalist Jorge Caamal, Los Angeles Sheriff Dept. Rounding out this Super Fight Night will be four  fighters looking to make UCA history by becoming the first Champion in their division. 2nd ranked 2X Police Olympic Gold Medalist Walter Lavarro, Long Beach Police Dept. will square off with 3rd ranked, Police Olympic Gold Medalist Francisco Flores, Stanislaus Co Sheriff Dept. for the Vacant UCA Jr Welterweight State Title. The 4th Championship fight of the night will feature #1 ranked Police Olympic Gold Medalist Ricky Seward, Big Bear City Fire Dept. going head to head with 2nd ranked DJ Vargas, Avenal Police Dept for the vacant UCA Middleweight State Title.
