Vasquez vs. Pereida 2

Aurelio Vasquez, LAPD suffered his first and only defeat to Matthew Pereida, LASD in last year’s UCA “Fight of the Year.” It was a back and fourth war between two highly skilled fighters but there had to be a winner. Pereida would escape with a razor close split decision win and put a blemish on Vasquez perfect record. The fight became an instant classic earning Vasquez and Pereida the respect and attention of all public safety boxing fans and fighters. On Friday September 26, 2014 Vasquez and Pereida will finally meet  again and battle it out for the UCA Super Middleweight State Championship Title. The action takes place at the Quiet Cannon 901 Via San Clemente, Montebello California. Doors open at 5 p.m. First bell rings at 6pm.
