UCA Champions

Becoming a Champion doesn’t happen by chance, it’s a choice, it isn’t easy, it requires a relentless pursuit. One characteristic that makes or breaks a fighter is not strength or skill, but staying power – the ability to stick it out long after the initial glamour has worn off and when things get tough. Champions know how to push through when others give up. The sacrifices are a part of your life, it’s what champions do. Champions know how to withstand the pain and agony a little bit more than everyone else.  Champions work for everything nothing is handed or given to them. They are the hardest workers. First one to the gym and the last one to leave. A champion is not afraid to fail big and dream big. The greatest moment lies at the end of your journey when all the hard work and sacrifices pay off and you are crowned a champion. Congratulations Quincy Mirage, Los Angeles Police Dept. Chuck Pfau, Sacramento Sheriff’s Dept. Sean Johnson, CDCR, Kern Valley State Prison, James Moore, Monroe Louisiana Fire Dept. Hector Mendoza, Los Angeles Police Dept.

And-New8-rojasAnd still the undefeated, reigning and defending UCA Super Cruiserweight Champion Alan Rojas, LASD. There was a lot of hype surrounding this fight. Two undefeated fighters from the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Dept. squaring off for the UCA Championship Title. When the bell sounded to start the fight both fighters came out throwing bombs and Rojas would land first scoring a knockdown in the 1st round. Rojas would send Barrios to the canvas again in the 2nd round with a perfectly placed right hand. Barrios would not beat the count and the referee was forced to end the bout. Rojas winner 2nd round TKO. Rojas is the real deal! Can #1 Josh Webb, CHP, #2 Enrique Frias, San Diego Probation or #3 Ryan Hotchkiss, Barstow PD stop Alan Rojas?
